It looks like the Sisters of Battle are growing up. GW seems to have stopped calling them Sisters of Battle and started calling them Adepta Sororitas. I noticed this earlier this while browsing through the army entries hoping to find any changes preceding the release to the digital codices. Well I guess a name change is definitely something.
Adepta Sororitas
Upon further exploration of this section, it does appear that they have added a paint set for the Order of our Martyred Lady under Essentials.

Imperial Guard - My List - 500 points
I for whatever reason decided that my primary army for 6e would be the Imperial Guard. Now I have played Dark Angels for most of 1e through 4e and the beginning of 5e at which point I put up my figs and went into 40k retirement. Now that I realized that retirement was a mistake, it is time to build a new army.
I have had a 20 man box of IG infantry from a long time ago (I believe when the Cadians were first introduced) as well as a Leman Russ MBT and a Leman Russ Exterminator. These were the beginnings of what was to be a Mechanized Infantry army, and hopefully will be at some point in the future.
Here is my goal for 500 points
HQ1 - Company Command Squad w/ Plasma gun, Sniper, Missile Launcher and Master of Ordnance
T1 - Infantry Platoon
Platoon Command Squad w/ Flamer, Sniper, Missile Launcher
2x Infantry Squads w/ Flamer and Autocannon
T2 - Veteran Squad w/ 2x Flamers, Sniper, and Missile Launcher
Fort - Aegis Defense Line w/ Quad gun
The list is probably not the best I could have done but I have only ever played IG once before and if nothing else it should give me a nice base for 750 and 1000 point games. I have found that I don't really like snipers but I am not going to remove them for something else as of yet. This is mostly because I already own the snipers. It would also be nice to reduce the number of flamers this army is sitting on but since I have the flamers and no other special weapons at this time they are once again a choice of convenience. Of course I have the controversial Master of Ordnance, I took him specifically to intimidate my opponent. I understand that the chances of him hitting something is slim unless I get lucky but I only have to hit once for him to be worth the points.
If anyone has any suggestions or comments by all means I would like to hear them. Once again, I have only ever played IG once before and the above list will be heavily modified over time. I will state that I am not looking for a tournament list since I can find them all over the internet. I am looking for any assistance with a list that will make my IG well rounded and most importantly fun to play.

Sisters of Battle and an Army Promised
So Natfka posted a bit of info over on Faeit 212 this morning about the upcoming Sisters of Battle codex. Here it is
Sisters of Battle Update: After Talking to Cruddace
See I made a promise to some little girl (my daughter) that when the Sisters of Battle codex came out (assuming 2014/15) that I would paint her a Hello Kitty themed army using the Sisters of Battle. Well as you can now see the above news has pushed the time line for that project forward by a huge amount. The army I had planned was never going to be huge and with the ally system in play with 6e I was going to go with that. I cannot see how the Sisters of Battle wouldn't fit as a good ally for my Imperial Guard, at least occasionally. Now I do have some old Sisters figs around and hopefully the Immolator that turned up in the garage not to long ago will hold her over until I can find the rest of my stuff.
While dread fills me that my daughter is going to hound me about painting her pink army while I still need to finish painting my Guard, I am actually very glad of the news. The few times that I used the sisters in the past were enjoyable and I am going to enjoy every moment of any of the guys loses to a pink army. I know of at least one of them that would never live it down if it happened.
So once I figure out how to use my wife's camera, or better yet get her to take the pictures, you should start seeing pictures of my IG and the inevitable pink sisters.

Upcoming Battle: Chaos Space Marines vs. Imperial Guard - Army list
So I have the list and first up are the Chaos Space Marines
HQ1 - Sorcerer w/ the Mark of Tzeentch, Veteran of the Long War and Aura of Dark Glory
E1 - 5x Chosen w/ the Mark of Tzeentch, Veteran of the Long War, 1x Power Weapon, and 1x Power Fist
E2 - Hellbrute w/ Heavy Flamer
T1 - 10x Cultist w/ Autoguns and 1x Heavy Stubber. Champion w/ Shotgun
T2 - 10x Cultist w/ 1x Flamer
As most of us may have noticed this is the Chaos portion of the Dark Vengeance box set. I sold this to Dreese to get him started and it was all I could do to make a usable list out of it. Now a couple changes were made to my original list such as the Marks but the rest of it is completely my fault so go ahead and blame me. There really wasn't a whole lot I could have done differently with the list except normal Marines instead of the Chosen in order to give him a 3rd Scoring Unit. Though if he can get the big guys out in front or even push for the Imperial Guard line he may be able to distract me long enough to steal the Relic and walk away with a win. Then there is always my poor army list.
Next up Imperial Guard!
I am going to get this out in the open from the beginning, this list is what I currently have for Imperial Guard and not what I want to take. Now that I have said that we can look at what I believe maybe how Dreese beats me in the upcoming game.
HQ 1 - Company Command Squad w/Flamer, Sniper, and Missile Launcher. Chimera w/ Heavy Bolter Turret, Hull Heavy Flamer, Hunter-Killer Missile, and Pintle Heavy Stubber.
T1 - Veteran Squad w/ Flamer and Autocannon
T2 - Veteran Squad w/ Flamer and Autocannon
HS - Leman Russ Exterminator w/ Hull Lascannon and Sponson Heavy Bolters
The wargear on the chimera was kind of forced on me since I ran out of stuff I could take. My hope is that I remember everything that I am going to need to remember with this army.
Upcoming Battle: Chaos Space Marines vs. Imperial Guard - 500 points
So we had a bit of a scheduling issue with this Friday game and it looks like Austin and his Tau are out due to a prior engagement. That means that I will be taking my Imperial Guard against Dreese's Chaos Space Marines for his very first game of 40k. I may have mentioned before that this will be a teaching/learning game for Dreese and while we will have a Battle Report for it sometime this weekend or early next week, it may be riddled with errors on our parts as we over-think we is going on.
More to come later, including the army list and possible discussions about what maybe become of Friday's game.

Firstly here is the link to the original post which also has pictures
40K: Primarch Rules!!!
I must say I have waited 6 editions to see rules for the Primarchs and while I have seen the rules for the ones in the first Heresy book, One in particular is the reason for linking this article.
